How do I get reimbursed for an activity with my Sport & culture vouchers?

Have you recently paid for an eligible sport and culture activity using another payment method? You can use your Activ' balance to request a reimbursement.

To do so, select an activity with the "Reimbursements" icon on the platform. Click on "Choose file" under "Reimbursement request" to upload a photo of your receipt. You will then need to fill in some additional information so we can debit your Activ' balance and reimburse the amount to your bank account.

If the activity for which you want a reimbursement is not yet available on Activ', you can use the "Suggest activities" tab to submit a request.

How can I suggest an activity that is not yet on the Activ' platform?

Would you like to book an activity with an organisation that is not yet on the Activ' platform?

Click on the "Suggest activities" section and fill in the contact form with the name and details of the organisation.

We will contact the organisation and add it to the Activ' platform.

How do I access the Activ' platform?

The Activ' platform is accessible via the Monizze app or through your MyMonizze account. Log in and click on the blue Activ' button. You will find all the answers to your questions about the Activ' platform at the bottom of the platform's homepage (FAQ).

What is the validity period of Sport & culture vouchers?

Sport and culture vouchers have a validity period of 15 months from the date of receipt.

During the validity period, you continue to benefit from discounts on our Activ' platform, even if your allocated budget has been used up. You simply pay with your own payment method.

What can I buy with Sport & culture vouchers?

Can I use my Activ' vouchers in stores?

Activ' vouchers can only be used on the Activ' platform. You therefore cannot pay with Activ' vouchers using your Monizze card. Activ' is our online platform for booking sports and cultural activities.

How can I check my balance?

There are several ways to check your balance:

  • Via the Monizze app (iOS or Android)
  • Via your MyMonizze account.
  • Via the app of one of our partners (KBC/CBC mobile, Belfius or Joyn).
  • By SMS: send MS to 3377 (€0.15 per SMS sent and received).
  • On the receipt you receive in certain shops after a transaction with your Monizze card.
  • By calling 0800/212.17

How can I check my transactions?

There are several ways to check your transactions:

  • Via the Monizze app: on the home screen, tap the voucher type for which you want to view your transactions.
  • Via your MyMonizze account: under the "transactions" tab, you will find an overview of your transactions for the past year.
  • Via the app of one of our partners (KBC/CBC mobile, Belfius or Joyn).
  • By SMS: send MT to 3377 (€0.15 per SMS sent and received)
  • To check your Activ' transactions, go to the Activ' platform and click on "Transactions".

How do I transfer a transaction from one voucher type to another?

If you paid with your meal vouchers or eco-vouchers when you wanted to use your gift vouchers, you can transfer a transaction from one voucher type to another.

Log in to the Monizze app and open your transaction history by tapping the icon of one of your vouchers. Select the transaction you want to transfer and tap "Transfer to another account". If the balance of your gift vouchers is high enough to cover the full transaction, you can choose that voucher type. Tap "Confirm transfer" to complete the process.

This feature is only available for transactions from the last 60 days. It is not possible to transfer a transaction to your meal vouchers or eco-vouchers, as these can only be used to purchase food items and ecological products.

What is the validity period of the different fringe benefits?

All fringe benefits have a limited validity period. Rest assured, our system will always use your oldest vouchers first during transactions.

  • Meal vouchers and gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date they were loaded onto your card.
  • Eco-vouchers have a validity period of 2 years from the date they were loaded onto your card.
  • Sport & culture vouchers are valid for 15 months from the date of receipt.

You can check the validity of your vouchers at any time via MyMonizze (on the home page) or via the mobile app (by tapping the desired voucher).

How am I notified when my vouchers are loaded?

Once the vouchers are loaded onto your Monizze account, you will receive a confirmation by email (if your email address has been added to your MyMonizze account) and/or by SMS (depending on your employer's choice).

What should I do if I inherit Monizze vouchers?

If a family member passes away, please send us an email at support@monizze.be. Please attach the following documents:

  • A copy of the death certificate
  • A copy of a certificate of inheritance

You did not receive the SMS code:

  1. Check that you have the latest version of the Monizze app.
  2. Check the international prefix and number you entered (especially if you are using a foreign number).
  3. Make sure you entered a mobile phone number (not a landline).
  4. You have checked all of the above and the problem persists? Please try again later.

How do I add Face ID, a fingerprint or a PIN code to log in to the Monizze mobile app?

To add secure login options such as Face ID, a fingerprint or a PIN code to the Monizze mobile app, start by opening the app and go to the Hub. Then select the Security option and choose "Face and fingerprint recognition". Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the security option of your choice. This will allow you to log in quickly and securely to your mobile app using your face, fingerprint or a unique PIN code.

Why activate two-step verification?

Activating two-step verification adds an extra layer of security to your Monizze account. This protective measure ensures that even if someone obtains your password, they will not be able to access your account without a second verification element. Two-step verification thus guarantees that you are the only person who can access and use your Monizze account, strengthening the security of your personal information and transactions.

How do you activate two-step verification for your Monizze account?

To activate two-step verification on your Monizze account, follow these simple steps.

If you use the Monizze mobile app, start by opening the app and go to the Hub. Then select the "Security" option and follow the instructions provided to activate two-step verification. Make sure you have installed the latest version of the Monizze app (version 4.17.1 or later) before activating two-step verification.

If you use MyMonizze via the website, log in to your account, go to the "My account" section, then choose "Security". Finally, follow the steps indicated to activate this additional security feature.

Is my personal data protected?

What happens to my account if I change employer?

Are you leaving the employer who provides you with Monizze vouchers? No problem, you can continue to use your MyMonizze account, as well as your Monizze vouchers and your Monizze card until they expire.

Where can I change my personal data?

You can change your personal data (email address, phone number, password, etc.) via your MyMonizze account under the Profile tab.

How do I enable or disable online payments for my Monizze account?

How do I pay online with my Monizze vouchers?

Can I use my Monizze vouchers abroad?

The Monizze card can only be used in Belgium. Each country has its own legislation on employee benefits. The Monizze card is subject to Belgian legislation.

How do I spend my Monizze meal vouchers, eco-vouchers and gift vouchers?

There are 3 ways to spend your meal vouchers, eco-vouchers and gift vouchers:

  1. In store, with your Monizze card: more than 45,000 merchants in Belgium accept the Monizze card.
  2. Online, via your MyMonizze account.
  3. Via Dealzz, our online benefits platform.

What should I do if my card is lost/stolen/expired and I no longer work for the company that provided me with a card?

You need to contact your former employer and ask them to order a new card.

What should I do if my Monizze card is about to expire?

If your Monizze card's expiration date is approaching, a replacement card will be automatically ordered through your employer.

Has your card already expired and you haven't received a new one yet? Contact your employer to ask if they have received your card.

As soon as you receive and activate your new card, your remaining balance will be immediately available on your new card. There is no need to block the old card.

What should I do if my Monizze card no longer works?

Is your card no longer working or was your transaction declined? Then first check the following:

  • Whether your card is activated (via the MyMonizze homepage or via "My cards" in the Monizze app)
  • Whether your card is still valid (check the expiration date on your card)
  • Whether you still have available balance
  • Whether the merchant where your transaction was declined accepts the product available on your card

If, after checking, your Monizze card is still being declined at multiple merchants, send us your card by post to our address: Rue de l'Hôpital 31, 1000 Brussels. Your card will be tested and, if necessary, a new card will be sent to you within 10 business days.

How do I block my Monizze card in case of loss or theft?

Has your Monizze card been lost or stolen? There are several ways to block it immediately:

  • Via the mobile app, under the "My cards" tab
  • Via MyMonizze, on the homepage, via "Block card"
  • Via our customer service at +32 (0)78 05 33 77 (Monday to Saturday between 8:30 AM and 6 PM). Make sure to have your national register number ready when you contact us.
  • By phone by calling Card Stop at +32 (0)78 170 170 (7 days a week, 24/7).

Your employer can also block your card themselves via their own client portal.

How is my Monizze card topped up?

Your Monizze card is topped up after your employer places a voucher order.

As soon as the vouchers are loaded onto your Monizze account, you will receive a confirmation by email (if your email address is added in your MyMonizze account) and/or by SMS (depending on your employer's choice).

How can I activate my Monizze card?

You can activate your first new Monizze card in 3 ways:

  • Activation via the mobile app: download the Monizze app and click on "Activate my card". Fill in the required fields. You will receive an email with a link to set your password. You can now log in with your email address and your new password.
  • Activation via "MyMonizze": go to www.mymonizze.be and click on "Activate your card online". Fill in the required fields. You will receive an email with a link to set your password. You can now log in with your email address and your new password.
  • Activation by SMS: send the activation code mentioned in the letter accompanying your card to number 8844. You will then receive an activation confirmation by SMS and a password to log in to your Monizze account.

Already have a Monizze account? You can activate your new card via the mobile app:

  1. Go to the Hub and click on "Cards"
  2. Click on "Activate my card"
  3. Enter your card number and email address
  4. Confirm the activation of your card via the email you will receive

To which address will my Monizze card be sent?

Monizze cards are sent by default to the employer's postal address, unless they explicitly indicate a different delivery address. The card will be delivered within 10 business days of the request.

I blocked my Monizze card. When will I receive my new Monizze card?

After blocking your Monizze card, you will receive your new card within 10 business days.

Once your new card is activated, your remaining balance will be immediately available on your new card.

When will I receive my Monizze card?

Your Monizze card has been requested by your employer. You don't need to do anything yourself. You will receive your card within 7 days from when your employer's request is received.

Have you blocked your card? Or has it expired? A new card is automatically ordered.

How do I log in to my Monizze account and the Monizze app?

To log in to your personal account via the Monizze website or the Monizze app:

  1. Go to Monizze or open your Monizze app.
  2. Enter the email address or mobile phone number you used to activate your Monizze card.
  3. Enter your personal password.

I forgot my username, how can I recover it?

  1. Open your Monizze app and click on "Forgot username?".
  2. You can recover it using your Monizze card number or your national register number.
  3. Click "Confirm" and you will receive your login details on the next screen. You cannot edit your details on this screen. You can only edit your details via the Hub once you are logged in.

How do I request a new password?

Forgot your password? Click on "Forgot password" when you want to log in to your Monizze account via the mobile app or via the Monizze website. Choose one of the options below to set a new password:

  • Via your email address
  • Via your mobile phone number

You will receive a link or code by email or SMS to set your new password.

How do I reactivate my vouchers via the Monizze app?

For meal vouchers and eco-vouchers:

  1. Open your Monizze app
  2. Go to the Hub and click on "Reactivation"
  3. Select an expired transaction you wish to reactivate
  4. Click "Reactivate" and you're done!

For Sport & culture vouchers:

  1. Go to the Activ' platform
  2. Click on the "..." menu in the top right
  3. Click on "Transactions"
  4. Click on "Expired"
  5. Click on "Extend for 3 months"

I submitted a reactivation request for my meal vouchers the day after they expired. How do I calculate the new validity?

We will inform you of your new validity date once the reactivation has been processed. Here is an example of how to calculate your new validity date:

  • EUR 13 in eco-vouchers: expiry date 30 January 2023
  • Reactivation request submitted on 13 February 2023
  • Reactivation request processed on 15 February 2023
  • EUR 13 in eco-vouchers reloaded on your account with a new validity until 15 May 2023

In any case, the reactivation date of your vouchers will be visible in the Monizze mobile app or in your MyMonizze account.

How do I know if I can reactivate my vouchers? Do my vouchers disappear from my app when they expire?

If some of your vouchers have expired, you will see a line labelled "Expiration" in the transaction list – either in your Monizze mobile app, in your personal MyMonizze account, or in the various applications that allow you to check your balance such as KBC, Belfius...

The date and amount will be specified, and you can use this information when submitting your validity extension request.

I requested a reactivation. When does the new validity period start?

The reactivation request will be processed within 10 business days. You will be notified once it has been completed, and you will see your voucher balance again in the Monizze mobile app or in your MyMonizze account.

Can I reactivate vouchers that expired less than 3 months ago?

Yes. You can reactivate your vouchers up to 3 months after their expiry date. Once the 3-month period has passed, reactivation will no longer be possible.

I didn't get the chance to use the vouchers for which I already requested a reactivation. Can I request a second reactivation?

No. A voucher that has already been reactivated once cannot be reactivated a second time.

Can I request an extension for my vouchers that are about to expire?

No. Only vouchers that have already expired can be subject to a reactivation request.

Until when can I submit a reactivation request for my expired vouchers?

You can submit a reactivation request for your vouchers up to 3 months after their expiry date.
